Alex Bogomolov, Jr.

Alex, an ATP Touring Professional, brings a world-class tennis pedigree and a wealth of invaluable experiences to Gotham Tennis Academy. He has been instrumental in integrating the latest state-of-the art training and instruction methods into Gotham Tennis Academy programs, especially our Advanced Training and Elite Training Programs. Alex is a former member of the United States Davis Cup Team and currently plays World Team Tennis as a member of the Philadelphia Freedoms.

Born in Moscow, Russia and raised in Miami, Alex played professional tennis for the past seven years achieving a career high world ranking of #97 on the Men’s Professional ATP Tour. Over the course of his career, he has recorded wins over Andy Roddick, James Blake, Tommy Haas, and Fernando Gonzales. He has played against all-time greats such as Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, and Marat Safin. Alex also enjoyed a stellar junior career winning the USTA Boy’s National Championships twice. Alex is very excited about his role at Gotham Tennis Academy and this new phase of his career in New York City. He thoroughly enjoys being a role model for Gotham's young players and helping all players - no matter what their level - accelerate their development both physically and mentally.
