Indoor Tennis in NYC has just become easier, more affordable and more fun beginning this Winter with the opening of Gotham Stadium Tennis Center at Mill Pond Park— a brand-new, 16 court indoor-outdoor state-of-the art tennis center.

Gotham Stadium Tennis Center offers a full complement of programs for juniors — including Gotham Tennis Academy’s popular junior development and advanced training programs as well as elite training programs for ranked juniors — and adult programs including fast-paced group clinics and cardiotennis workouts as well as private lessons. In addition, seasonal court rentals and tournament play are now available. Gotham Tennis Academy’s junior programs are offered in 18 and 36 week semesters. The spacious backcourts and excellent lighting of Gotham Stadium Tennis Center are sure to please and enhance the “player’s atmosphere” along with Gotham Tennis Academy’s experienced, certified staff of outstanding tennis professionals. In addition, the planned clubhouse when completed will feature a pro shop, café, and lounge areas with quiet areas and computer access where children can do their homework, and an extensive tennis library.

Gotham Stadium Tennis Center is conveniently located just across the 145th Street Bridge along the Harlem River (just across the Harlem River from the Harlem Armory). It is easily accessible by public transportation (Metro North to Yankees E153rd from Grand Central Station, B and D trains, and Number 4, 5, and 2 trains) and by car. There are sixty (60) dedicated, on-site exclusive parking spots making it one of the easiest facilities in New York City to drive to. Additionally, Gotham Tennis Academy offers door-to-door transportation for its junior academy players with pick-up at school and drop-off at home.

Gotham Stadium’s Tennis Professionals

One of the unique hallmarks of Gotham Stadium is our pros - some of the most talented, personable and engaging tennis pros in NYC, all of whom share a passion to work closely with all players in our system and help them develop to their fullest potential. We are very proud of our Gotham Tennis Academy tennis professionals and welcome you to read the brief biographies of our pros.

Free On-Site Parking

We have secured 60 exclusive on-site parking spaces at the Yankees’ Harlem River South Parking Lot, just north of the courts and adjacent to the Parks Department parking lot. Please note that this parking lot is only available when the Yankees are not playing at Yankee Stadium. In the event that the Yankees have a home playoff game in the next few weeks, we recommend that you take public transportation (the 2,4,5,B,D or Metro North Train) or park your car at the Gateway Shopping Center.

Temporary Clubhouse Open

In October, we set up our temporary clubhouse at the entrance to the courts. This temporary clubhouse will be in place until the clubhouse renovations are completed over the next several months. When complete, the new clubhouse will include a pro shop, café, lounge areas, bathrooms, showers, and a wifi area where children can do their homework. We appreciate your patience while we complete the building renovations which will not affect play on the tennis courts inside the dome.
